Yet her insistence irritated Julio. He scowled and said, “What makes you think you can negotiate with me? Dalores, unless you sign the documents, I won’t cut ties with you. We’ll see which one of us can afford to waste more time on this.” After making his statement, he handed the documents to her and added, “Think about it. Sign this and give it back to me afterward.”
