The young man also stood up and looked over.

Lila's eyes met his, and both of them froze for a moment.

Michael was the first to speak. "Lila?"

He glanced up at the stairs, looking a little awkward.

Beside him, Albert also stood up and said, "Amelie, is this the

granddaughter you're always praising? She's so beautiful! Why

don't you take her out with you more often?"

Amelie responded, "The kids have their own lives. How can they be with me all the time?"
