Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

Chapter 1230

Teddy, with his legs elegantly crossed, said, "Find him and keep tabs on him, don't let him slip away."noveldrama

Noah quickly turned to the head honcho at the table and said, "The boss says we can bring him back, dead or alive."

Teddy's lips curled into a chilly smile. Even though he was smiling, it was enough to send a shiver down anyone's spine. "Messing with my godson? Just bumping off one person is letting the Dark Web off easy."

He picked up his cup of green tea, took a light sip, and said calmly, "It's time we make the Dark Web realize what it costs to mess with our family!" With that, he downed the rest of his tea in one go.

Glancing at the usually composed Andre, he joked, "Andre, looks like you're not as chill as me this time, huh?"

Connor, who was on the same level as Andre, chimed in understandingly, "Andre, not taking Kon out on the spot is already showing a lot of restraint. His two kids were kidnapped by Kon, anyone in his shoes would be out for blood. I'm barely holding back myself from wanting to tear Kon to pieces."

Andre knew he had been impulsive, but Teddy's suggestion was a solid plan to hit the Dark Web hard. "Let's follow Teddy's orders."

Noah got the directive and immediately spread the word.

Teddy stood up, slipped on the boxing gloves Mars had left lying around, and

asked, "Are there any Dark Web hitmen left standing?"

The guard shook his head, gave Mars a look, and somehow managed to say it all without uttering a word.

Teddy said, "Mars, that was really uncool of you."

Asher jumped in, pointing accusingly at Mars, "Exactly, you didn't leave anyone for us to spar with."

Mars shrugged, "What can I say? I'm just too good."

Later that afternoon, as Andre was leaving, a man clambered into the back seat. "Never learns, does he? Deserves a good thrashing."

Mars groaned, "Grandpa's thinking of quitting the gang, and here you all are, picking on me."

He finished with, "Hey, Andre, give me a lift to your place. I still don't know how my precious kid is doing."

Andre caught a glimpse of his buddy in the rearview mirror and headed home.

Henry was having his dinner, his face a mess with food, but his godfather scooped him up and kissed him without a care.

His cheeks were still puffy, with a whiff of ointment lingering.

Later that night, as Andre was dropping Mars off at a hotel, he asked, "Why not just go home?"

Mars, rubbing his backside, replied, "Ever since you got married and had kids, my dad's been on my case non-stop. It's relentless. I'd rather crash elsewhere for some peace."

Annie had taken a few days off, and when she found out the old security guard got shot because of her, she made a point to visit him. "Annie, take me with you," came the humble request from the head of the Nettleton family.

During her time off, Annie was staying at Connor's hotel.

"Well, hurry up and drive then."

Connor dashed off, and when they got to the hospital, they bumped into Molly and Chad, who were there with their baby.

"Molly, Officer Chad,” Annie greeted the trio, “I see you brought Wayne along too.”

Molly replied, "Oh, you guys are here as well." Glancing at the baby, she added, "My little sleepyhead hardly ever goes out. It's usually home or grandma's office. Today, I thought I'd bring him out for a change."

Molly, holding her little sweetie, stood by the bed. "Uncle, you've always wanted to see my son, right? I brought him over just for you. He's over six months now, and he still can't sit up on his own. It's driving me nuts."

The patient was propped up in bed, and the security guard reached out to stroke

Wayne's tiny hand, warm to the touch. "Just like Molly."
