Chapter 683 Molly's Boldness
After lunch, before Patrick returned in the afternoon, the remaining three left immediately within half an hour.
When Patrick got home and just entered the door, he saw only Vera sitting on the sofa with her legs curled up, holding Theodore, whose chubby back was facing him.
The mother and son were incredibly affectionate. Vera would kiss Theodore one moment and tease him the next. Theodore sucked on his little hand and laughed happily, his laughter echoing in the living room, sounding delightful.
"You're the only one here. Where are the other three?" Patrick asked as he changed his shoes and entered.
Theodore stopped laughing as soon as he heard the familiar voice, immediately looking around curiously.
Patrick's face showed a doting expression as he picked up Theodore from behind, holding him lovingly in one arm.
Vera said, "Molly is afraid of you, Randall is afraid of you, and Susan is afraid of you." Patrick replied, "These people are even more timid than my son."
His son wasn't afraid of him at all and even dared to throw tantrums and pinch him with his little claws.
When Sebastian came home from work, he saw Molly curled up on the sofa waiting for him. He loosened his tie, revealing bite marks on his neck.
Seeing that Sebastian was wearing a new shirt, Molly deliberately said in a teasing tone, "Sebastian, this shirt is different from the one you wore when you left this morning. How unusual! You even wore a tie today. What happened to your neck, Sebastian?"
Sebastian glanced at Molly and threatened, "You better pray for your safety tonight." "I've been praying all along," Molly replied in a light, teasing tone, showing no fear at all.
Who knows where she got her confidence from?
During dinner, Molly paid attention to the marks and pressed Sebastian down to apply concealer to the red marks on his neck. "Don't move, it's not covered properly."
Mr. Chase sat in front of Molly's vanity, tilting his neck as he watched her use a big, soft sponge to dab water on his neck. "Molly, what is this?"
"A beauty blender."
Sebastian curiously fiddled with Molly's makeup products. "Is this also a beauty blender?"
"That's a powder puff."
Mr. Chase picked up another item. "What about this?"
"Compact powder."
"And this?"
Seeing Sebastian's curiosity about her makeup items, Molly picked up a foundation brush and said, "Sebastian, why don't you become a pervert? I think you have the potential."
Sebastian immediately slapped Molly's thigh, making her behave.
However, after marrying Molly, Sebastian seemed to have opened a new door to the world and understood why women needed two hours to do their makeup.
But being a husband also had its troubles.
For example, he liked Molly's natural look, but she insisted on putting on makeup. It
took two hours, and she would ask if she looked good.
If he said she looked good, it went against his true feelings.
If he said she didn't look good, he wouldn't have a good outcome.
Eventually, Sebastian figured it out and always said, "You look good," because if you said "not good," they could spend another two hours fixing their makeup.
After covering the kiss marks on his neck, the couple finally went downstairs to eat.
In the evening, just as Sebastian was about to get on top of Molly, she smiled and said, "Sebastian, my period just started. What a bad timing. Why don't you take care of it yourself? I don't mind."

Sebastian, filled with frustration, threw off the covers and went to the bathroom.
Soon, the sound of running water could be heard.
Watching Sebastian's back, Molly whispered, "I'll make you suffer for the next few
days."
After saying that, Molly, feeling triumphant, went off to play.
The sanitary pads in her drawer were still unopened.
She happily shared her clever idea with Vera, who was also in a similar situation. "Vera,
you should try using your period as an excuse. It works like a charm."
Vera replied, "Sorry, my husband remembers my cycle better than I do."
Molly said, "You poor thing."
"Don't feel sorry for me. You're just newly married."
The next morning, Sebastian was getting ready for work. Having experienced the effectiveness of using concealer to cover the kiss marks the previous night, he pulled the still-sleeping Molly out of bed. "Molly, get up and cover my neck again." "No, do it yourself. I want to sleep."
Sebastian sat by the bed, looking at Molly, who was hugging his pillow and showing a large expanse of her beautiful back. Knowing how to deal with Molly, Sebastian bent down and started kissing her neck.
"Sebastian, okay, I'll get up and do your makeup," Molly said, feeling the warmth on her neck and realizing that her neck would soon be unpresentable. She was instantly awake.
However, it was too late. Molly's delicate neck now had several marks left by Sebastian. To prevent more marks, she had to obediently cover the marks on Sebastian's neck. Molly applied makeup with a hint of frustration.

Sebastian's gaze was hot as he looked at Molly. "Molly, be good, and I'll give you a few days off."
Molly rolled her eyes. "It's done. Go to work. I'm going back to sleep."
Sebastian watched Molly's back, a slight smile on his lips and deep amusement in his eyes.
"I'm leaving," Sebastian said, changing his clothes and speaking to Molly, who was wrapped in the blanket.
Molly, still under the covers, waved her arm in the air and continued to sleep.noveldrama
Randall observed Patrick for a few days. Without a secretary general, Patrick's workload increased significantly, but the position wasn't one that just anyone could fill, so it remained vacant.
After much hesitation, Randall went to Patrick's office. "Patrick, I don't want to be the secretary general, but I can do the work of one."
Patrick looked at Randall, still displeased with his choice, as he hadn't accepted the job yet.
"I can give it a try. After all, I don't have much work experience, and I'm not sure I can handle it."
Patrick thought of Vera's advice, "Honey, if Randall takes a step back, you should too."
Patrick, who had never backed down in front of Vera, took a step back this time. "Okay, but I have conditions."
Randall knew what Patrick was going to say. "I will work diligently."
The two talked for a long time in the office at noon, and Randall's workload increased in the afternoon.
Sophia came to the company to report the current financial status of The Miller Group to her superiors and saw Randall, who was taking over her work. She was about to congratulate Patrick on finding a capable assistant when Jack pulled her aside. "Don't," Jack explained the recent events in the company to Sophia, who thanked Jack for saving her.
When Patrick finished reviewing the financial status of The Miller Group, his expression didn't reveal whether he was satisfied or not. Sophia, who had worked with Patrick for many years, could vaguely guess his mood. "Mr. Olteran, do you need me to teach Randall what to do?"
"No need, let him figure it out himself." Since Sophia was no longer part of the Olteran Group headquarters, "From now on, your job is only to handle The Miller Group."
"Understood."
